“ The service was great. Ordered up the onion rings for an appetizer and talk about a mound of rings. Then we got the Jumbo pork chops with real mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was so delicious and has plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. Love it here. They should call it Great Time Charlie's ”

“ May 2025 Time.to return to Good Time Charlie's. Not too hungry tonight. So, a Modelo Negro beer, order of deep fried mushrooms with gravy, and a kids meal of deep-fried shrimp and fries. Another order at the table was pork chops. They only had the thick ones available, as the thinner sliced ones were sold out. Our server, Roxanne, took real good care of us, and the food was delicious. Hope you enjoy on your visit too. March 2025 Decided it was time for another visit to Good Time Charlie's. Jessica was our server and did really well waiting on our table. We decided to eat light tonight, enjoying some deep-fried mushrooms, with an ice cold beer. For dinner our entrees were pork chops, a BLT, and a grilled chicken sandwich. All three were good and are posted in the pictures. I hope that if you decide to visit that your experience is as good as mine. ”

“ UPDATE another friend that asked "Would you mind if we went to Good Time Charlies for late lunch?" Lolol. So you know we went right? I hadn't had a burger there in quite some time so I thought I would try that. Great burger. I had the jalapeno cheddar burger smothered and everything. And those fries. Those fries. Oh my goodness those fries LOL. Thin crispy little slices of potato heaven ummm. We also had some chips with queso. And a picture of ice cold beer with two ice cold mugs. All the way around a great visit. Roxanne was an excellent server. Very personable. Great smile. She made a few suggestions that actually saved us some money. And they were right on the mark. Thank you Roxanne. You made the visit even better. If you've never been here or if you haven't been here in a while, do yourself a favor. UPDATE this Friend and I were trying to figure out where to go for a good chicken fried steak. When we both realized we already knew. This is one of those good old fashioned chicken fried steaks with gravy so thick it will make you cry. Mmmmm. And Texas toast, come on- what more do you need? How about some delicious mashed potatoes. It started with the Nuts and Bolts, they're classic appetizer with a little bit of this and a little bit of that. First of all there was a lot of this and a lot of that LOL. So much so that I had to take most of my meal home but that was okay. More for later. Service was wonderful. At least now I know when I think about chicken fried steak I know what I'm doing! This staff will generally reflect your mood. If you're grumpy don't be surprised if they seem more focused on service rather than experience. If you smile they will smile back. Ok food... If I ordered anything other than the steak con queso it would surprise anyone with me. I am married to that dish. We met many years ago and have been happy with each other for a long time. I have cheated on this meal with the fried shrimp plate, enchiladas Charlie's style (help me) and been thoroughly satisfied with that pork chop plate (two) just to name a few. Fried or grilled both great. The steak con queso knows about my wondering eyes but it's ok with my infidelity because they know I'll always come back to them. Oh and one last word... Margaritas UPDATE... I have broken up with the steak con queso. Im sure it won't be for good. But It was me. I tried the enchiladas again. My father used to call them truck stop enchiladas. It was apparently a staple he found in truck stop cafes. I remember when our family was on a trip my father would always stop at truck stop restaurants. He said the truckers always new the best places to eat. He was right of course lol. Well GTC delivers on these enchiladas smothered in their beef chili sauce and cheese. Smothered.. You can barely identify the enchiladas are in there.. It comes, as it should, with Texas toast. Ask for a 2nd slice to make sure you can wipe the plate clean and dont forget the traditional chopped white onions... We also shared a "nuts and bolts" appetizer... 4-6 semi hungry people could share this. Or 2 healthy (using this word loosly) eaters could share it. Its all fried. There I said it. .. Last word here today was ICE COLD BEER... dont let the wait turn you away ”
